Mothers Day Contest results
The wonderful Mother's day is approaching and Russian Artists team came up with a cool gift for all of you our dear readers, fans and followers. Why to spend hours looking for a perfect present for your mom? We already did the search for you. Russian Artists team just had a Mother's day gift contest with a large selection of astonishing and beautiful hand made gift ideas for your loved ones. You don't have to search any longer. Just go to Russian Artists Facebook Page where all great gift ideas are already pre-selected for you.
Each Russian Artists team shop could submit one item to the Mother's day contest. Our friendly challenge turned out to be a huge success with 78 team shops suggesting gift ideas for our moms. All of the entries are outstanding, crafted with great care and absolutely unique. The access to the voting page is public so everyone was welcome to cast his or her vote. With so many beautiful items to choose from it was tremendously difficult to make a choice!
Nevertheless three items that received the highest number of “likes” are as follows:
1. Hand crocheted freeform scarf by Allmadewithlove
2. Stained Glass Panel by FleetingStillness
3. OOAK Angel "Saveliy" by timBelinskas
To give you an idea of how many amazing and beautiful items were actually submitted to the contest we decided to feature three more art pieces created by Russian Artists team members. These items were among the most "liked" ones.

Embroidered gift for your Mom
Mother’s day is coming, and it is coming very soon.
This is holiday of all mothers, grandmothers, and little girls as future moms.
It is become a tradition to give something special, some exclusive gifts to moms to assure them in our love. Embroidered souvenirs could be great gifts, where every handmade stitch tells about sincere love to moms.
We have a few stores in our team which offer embroidered gifts for moms.
For example- adorable shop Skrynka.
The owner of the shop Natasha offers cross stitch embroidered pendants.
Natasha is concentrating exclusively on Ukrainian’s national heritage, though; any mother would be delighted to get one of Natasha’s great items.
Store Woolsolution is offering more essential gifts.
Owner of the shop Lyudmila accomplished embroidery of significant level – abstract man’s head as image from the painting of renowned artist Paul Klee.
This embroidery piece would be unquestionable great benefit for decoration of any living room, it will bring bright accent to any contemporary style interior.
Pleasurable store BelleCoccinelle offers very feminine and elegant embroidery.
Items in this shop are made by hand, and also on hand-guided, beginning of the last Century "Singer" machine, which your grand-grand-mothers were using for sawing.
Owner of the store Lana – an embroidery designer, she offers embroidered souvenirs of any taste and style.
For example - delicate lily-of-the-valley:
Or smiley daisies:
These embroidery items made dimensional and looks like they grow right from the hoops.
Mom can decorate the shelf with this embroidery, next to the needlecraft chest, or she can present this beautiful souvenir to her daughter, future mom.
It doesn’t make any sense to buy common gift to your loved one.
Unusual gift is always much more thrilling.
Embroidery made by members of Russian team is unforgettable gift which every mom will keep for a long time.

A life of a mother
When I was little I wanted to be held by her all the time; I needed her undivided non-stop attention. When I was a teenager I hated all those “Have you done your homework?” and “Make sure you are home by 9”. When I was heartbroken and miserable I needed her support. I enjoy talking with her when I have time to call. I know she wishes I called more often even though she does not say anything. Being a Mom is a very difficult job that is not always appreciated enough.
If you are a mother I inspire you to celebrate yourself this coming Mother’s day! Take time to appreciate all the hard work you do. Forgive yourself for the things you wish you had done differently. Give yourself credit for the many things you’ve been doing well. Buy yourself something you’ve always wanted. Do something that makes you happy. And don’t forget to call your mom.
