A Walk with Nature

The famous American naturalist John Muir once said that "...in every walk with Nature one receives far more than he seeks". How true! Nature is an endless source of inspiration.

 Take for example nature inspired works presented to you by the Russian Artists Team.

When you walk through a forest you enjoy the fresh air, the subtle whisper of leaves in the wind, the beautiful views… It always makes me feel more alive.

I often want to pick up a mossy twig or an acorn and bring it home with me. Those gifts of nature remind me of the beauty that surrounds us.

We are inspired by many living creatures in the forest but owls in particular seem to be something that makes our imagination to go wild.

What makes these birds so interesting and attractive to us? Is it the fact that owls are nocturnal birds and we don’t see them much during daytime?

Or can it be the symbolism of wisdom that is associated with this bird?

There is also a mystical component to our perception of owls. Should we thank J.K. Rowling for that?

No matter where exactly the inspiration comes from, we all love owls and enjoy them in many forms and shapes.

There is so much inspiration awaiting you in the nearest forest or even a park. Get out there, take a deep breath, and let your imagination spread its wings!

Beautiful Spring Contest by Russian Artists Team member shops

To celebrate this year’s beautiful spring one of Russian Artists team members Lena Baymut came up with an idea of a spring contest. Each of the Russian Artists team shops could submit one item that best reflects the mood of beautiful and vivid spring. Depending on where you live the spring might be already in full bloom with pink, white and pale yellow flowers all around you or if you live to the north the spring might not be there yet. In any case March is the perfect month to celebrate clear skies, warm sun and fresh breeze.

With so many talented artists our team has a lot to share with the Internet community! Our craftsmen create amazing items from wool, cotton as well as wood, metal, glass and semi-precious stones. Crafting is something we all support and appreciate. We hope you will see some truly unique and exquisite items hand made by Russian Artists team members exclusively to celebrate spring!

Over 50 Russian Artists shops took part in the contest with a lot of amazing entries being submitted. All of our team member shops create unique and beautiful items. It's always hard to choose the winner in our team’s contests. All our followers and guest visitors on Russian Artists Facebook Page voted for their favorite item.
