I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that Fall is the best season of the year - from the golden foliage to pumpkin-flavored everything and cool weather, Fall gives us many special things and one of them is new look. Fall Fashion shows were presented in Spring and we had a good six months to prepare for autumn dressing.

In our collections you can find all what you will need in this season: chunky knits, sweater dresses, felted and knit scarves and many other accessories to stay warm and look cool. Bright, eye-popping colors make a statement this season - favor the bright and don't be shy to pair different shades of the same color.

layering is the starting point for a collection that consists of many pieces that are also mix-and-match and purposefully crafted to combat the winter temperatures. The source of inspiration, then, is the book The Stonemasters and its images of the California climbers of the Seventies. Sporty details mix with very masculine pieces and feminine dresses. It passes from the checked shirt to pieces in oversized knits, from touches of fur to ponchos with decorations that bring to mind the typical graphic prints of Native Americans. But also trapeze tops worn over undershirts, skirts that look like shirts or cardigans, flower-printed dresses and ankle-length skirts

Spring Muses Russian Artists Team Contest

Spring is all about blooming trees and amazing flowers, first warm sunny days and positive attitudes. One of Russian Artists team members Lena Baymut came up with an idea of yet another team spring contest. The main idea of this spring content is to feature not only amazing items hand crafted by Russian Artists team members but to actually present the artists themselves. Every team member could submit a listing from his or her store featuring his or her muse.

We all love hand crafting and are always eager to share our new ideas and designs with the Intrenet community. Creating hand made items for spring is especially rewarding as spring is all about beautiful colors, flowers, rebirth and happiness!

All the submissions were available on Russian Artists Facebook Page for voting. It was again a tough choice to vote for one or another of our beautiful artists.

Russian Artists team is somewhat unique. We are all united by a common mother tongue that is Russia but we all live in different parts of the world. This contest was actually a great opportunity for us to meet each other in person. We now know the artists who create unique and inspiring art pieces in our team.

Every item submitted collected a great number of votes. Below are four who got the most votes.

Beautiful Spring Contest by Russian Artists Team member shops

To celebrate this year’s beautiful spring one of Russian Artists team members Lena Baymut came up with an idea of a spring contest. Each of the Russian Artists team shops could submit one item that best reflects the mood of beautiful and vivid spring. Depending on where you live the spring might be already in full bloom with pink, white and pale yellow flowers all around you or if you live to the north the spring might not be there yet. In any case March is the perfect month to celebrate clear skies, warm sun and fresh breeze.

With so many talented artists our team has a lot to share with the Internet community! Our craftsmen create amazing items from wool, cotton as well as wood, metal, glass and semi-precious stones. Crafting is something we all support and appreciate. We hope you will see some truly unique and exquisite items hand made by Russian Artists team members exclusively to celebrate spring!

Over 50 Russian Artists shops took part in the contest with a lot of amazing entries being submitted. All of our team member shops create unique and beautiful items. It's always hard to choose the winner in our team’s contests. All our followers and guest visitors on Russian Artists Facebook Page voted for their favorite item.
